I found the most delightful 1800s infant cradle while antiquing yesterday. It has square nails and original paint that is in remarkably good condition. I plan to use it to display a grouping of my primitive dolls.

What a wonderful find you have there. It will look lovely with your dolls in. I love the rich dark patina of the wood. Be lovely to know its history.

What a beautiful cradle. I have one that’s not old, but nicely made by some daddy or grandpa in the past few decades. Thanks for your kind comments on my work in progress.

Lucky you!…. I never get that lucky here in Colorado… That cradle would look pretty neat filled with real pumpkins and your black cat creations!
