Mrs. Primitive Snowman Doll

I listed this new primitive snowman doll – or should I say, snowgal! – in my Etsy shop today. She is the Mrs. to the last snowman doll that I made. Perhaps that toothy grin is because she carries a snowball in her bag that is ready to throw?

I had a lot of fun taking pictures of her too. I love to get to play around with my collection of antiques and primitives and do a bit of redecorating around each new doll. It is almost time to finally tuck away the Halloween decorations that I still have filling my house (I love them so… I seem to stretch their stay a bit longer each year) and start bringing out the Christmas goodies. I bought a new primitive twig tree in Lancaster, PA last month that I can’t wait to set up and decorate for the first time. Soon I will have to find some time to make some extra sets of my candy cane and Santa ornaments for myself. Thank you to all of the wonderful customers who have been keeping me so busy making them!

  1. I love your new snowgirl Steph! She is perfect and love your prims too. BTW, my Halloween things are still out and I tend to stretch the dec. for that time of season as well. LOL

We do not normally put the tree up and so forth until right after Thanksgiving. Have a great day and glad to hear your lil candy canes are doing so well. I had fun making some too. Tis the Season.

    Blessings,

  2. Doreen – Thank you! 🙂 The tree was made by Netty LaCroix, and the box is an antique I picked up a couple years ago at a delightful Amish shop in Lancaster, PA.

Tonya – Glad to know I’m not the only one stretching Halloween out! I usually put my tree up right after Thanksgiving too, but Thanksgiving is so late this year that I am getting a little anxious. Thanks also for your kind words, and for entering my WSOAPP drawing (good luck!!). 🙂

Jo – Thank you, and you’re welcome! I can’t get enough of your art!
