Primitive Folk Art Witch Mannequin

I just updated the Old World Primitives Early Work Mercantile shop for our August 1st update. My offering this month is a primitive witch mannequin make-do that can function as a spooky pin-keep or a unique addition to your primitive Halloween decor. This piece is 21 1/2″ tall, and was created using a Hudson’s Holidays pattern. I enjoyed getting to use some of the beautiful 19th century reproduction fabrics that I recently purchased to create this witch mannequin.

  1. Your primitive witch mannequin is really great Stephanie. I love her skirt and the spider is a great touch. You do your primitive dolls with such care and attention. I can’t believe the summer is passing so quickly. Halloween will be here before we know where we are.

  2. Thank you, Cathy. I do spend a lot of time on each creation and I’m glad it shows. :) And I can’t believe the summer is passing by so quickly either – I haven’t even made it to the beach yet! I will be sure to make it at least once next week though.

  3. Hello!

I have posted a pic of your wonderful Witch Mannequin on my blog today for “Things I Love Thursday”, with a link back to your blog – I hope you don’t mind? Please let me know if you’d like me to remove the photo and I will ASAP!

Thank you for sharing your gorgeous work with us!
