New Kitties and Works in Progress

I added a new set of kitty themed chenille ornaments to my Old World Primitives Etsy shop this past week - a set of 3 calico cats with paper Victorian scrap faces.  I have some hanging from the feather tree on my mantel and looking quite festive.

Vintage Style Chenille Christmas Ornaments

This holiday season has been keeping me quite busy with wholesale orders, but I am determined to complete some new dolls that I have been working on by the end of the coming week.  Below is a peek at them as works in progress, sitting behind and beneath a small sea of Christmas ornaments that I will be packing up tonight.

I hope to be showing these dolls completed very soon.

Steph…your new kitties are so very sweet..and your new dolls..OH MY..I love them!!!

Orders are hard sometimes aren’t they..I’m so very thankful for them..but… they do tend to take away from creating new things!

    Hugs, D

Thanks, D! And yes, Christmas orders have been tying up most of my time lately and making my shops appear to be less productive than I’d like this year, but I am quite busy behind the scenes (and VERY grateful for it).

Glad to hear that things are buzzing for you Stephanie. Love the kitties. They look so sweet in their long trousers, and the dolls are coming along a treat. Look forward to seeing them finished.

Thank you, Cathy! I haven’t been able to make any more progress on the dolls yet, but am hopeful I can change that tomorrow.

    Hi Stephanie!
Can’t wait to see your dollies when they’re finished.
I’ve posted some (well, yours) pics of the three sets of ornaments I bought from you on my blog to show them off! :) Please let me know if you’d like me to remove the photos.
I bought a feather tree on Saturday - I haven’t put anything on it yet but if there’s more room, I want some more of your ornaments! :)
    Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Heather & Sally - Thanks! I managed to get one of the 3 dolls finished & will post more progress tomorrow. :)

And Sally - I am going to hop over to your blog next! No problem at all having the photos up, I am honored. Feather trees are so much fun to decorate, have fun with yours! And should you have any more spaces to fill, you are welcome back any time. :)

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    Hi Sally,
I just saw your order - thank you so very much once again! :)
I am going to be mailing your order out to you today since I am on a roll making ornaments. (Don’t worry, I don’t feel rushed at all!)

    Hi Stephanie,
    You’re welcome, my pleasure!
You’re so sweet, I didn’t want you to run over to the post office on my account. Hoping you can get in and out lickety split and get back into your creative groove. :)
I love your dollie! I look forward to having more time after the holiday to hear all about her.

Oh, not a problem at all - I had a post office run scheduled for this afternoon anyway and you were just in time to be included. :) And thank you for the dollie compliment! I’m hoping that her two friends will be able to join her in being completed sometime reasonably soon. I should have a bit more free time to work with starting next week.
